Benjamin Joseph “Ben” Flynn, 20, was received into the loving arms of his Savior, Jesus Christ.
The family will receive friends Monday, February 11, 2019 from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro. A celebration of Ben’s life will be held Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Bethel Church in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends following the service.
Ben worked at Staples as a certified tech and was recently enlisted into the North Carolina Army National Guard. He was a graduate of Marathon School and attended Wayne Community College. Private Benjamin Flynn was a member of the North Carolina Army National Guard assigned to the 690th Brigade Support Battalion.
He loved everyone he met and had many close friends. He had a gift for living in the moment and sharing all that he had. He was an enthusiastic member of the Wayne County 4-H Team 3737 Roto-Raptors robotics team, programming robots for regional and state competitions.
Ben attended Bethel Church in Goldsboro and will be remembered by his friends and family for his energy and expertise with technology of all kinds.
His memory is honored and loved by his father and mother, Dr. Joseph and Mrs. Theresa Flynn; his younger sister, Emily Flynn and his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
