Carl Ray Outlaw, Sr., 67, of Odom’s Mill Road, Mount Olive, passed away Friday morning, December 7, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 11, at 3 p.m. from the Tyndall Funeral Chapel with burial following in the Grady/Outlaw Cemetery off of Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, N.C. Officiating will be the Rev. Terry Heath. Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home before the service, beginning at 2:00p.m.
Mr. Outlaw served in the United States Army and was a auto body repairman. Formerly a member of the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Group, was an avid outdoorsman with a love for animals, especially dogs and cats. Very dear to him was his family, and he had a special love and admiration for his mother.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Rebecca Watts Outlaw; his mother, Edith Anderson Outlaw of Deep Run; two sons, SSgt. Carl Ray Outlaw, Jr. and wife, Jocelyn, of Goldsboro, and Kenneth Wayne Outlaw and wife, Rhonda, of Beulaville; two sisters, Brenda Smith and husband, Gerald, of Deep Run, and Linda Davis and husband, Jeff, of Seven Springs; ten grandchildren to include Eric, Joshua, and Alyssa Outlaw; and two great-grandchildren, Brendan and Steven Outlaw.
His father was the late Rev. Loren M. Outlaw.
