Mount Olive businessman, Guy V. McKee, Jr., known simply as “Guy Mac,” passed away suddenly early Wednesday morning, a little past midnight, at home. He was 84 years of age.
Mr. McKee was owner/operator of McKee Oil Company and was partner in the Friendly Mart Food Stores.
Visitation will be at Tyndall Funeral Home from 4 until 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Services will be Saturday, Nov. 17 at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Mount Olive with burial following at Wayne Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, gifts in his memory may be made to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 420, Mount Olive, NC 28365, or the Salvation Army, PO Box 264, Goldsboro NC 27533.
