Brian David Childers, age 55, died Monday at his residence. Born at Shaw Air Force Base, he was the son of Hazel Childers and the late Paul Kenneth Childers, Sr. He was the owner of Whitetail Creations in Goldsboro and loved the outdoors. He was a family man that always put his family first especially, his boys Cody and Collin, even when he struggled with debilitating medical issues.
An informal service to celebrate and remember Brian’s life will be held Saturday at 1:00pm at the Lord’s Table Church. Please come in comfortable clothes as Brian would expect. Also bring your favorite finger foods to share during the celebration at the church.
In addition to his mother, Brian is survived by his sons, Cody Childers and Collin Childers; and his two brothers, Paul Childers and Richard Childers.
