Benjamin Kornegay, 65, a resident of Willow Creek Nursing Center died Sunday.
He was born September 1, 1953 in Lenoir County to Benjamin and Lucettie Gills Kornegay and is survived by one son.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11 AM in the James T. Haskins Memorial Chapel of Haskins Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation Friday from 2 PM until 6 PM with family present to receive friends from 5 PM until 6 PM at the Haskins Funeral Home. The family will assemble at the funeral home in preparation for the funeral service.
Arrangements are by the Haskins Funeral Home.
