September 24, 2,

Ava Lynn Michelle Allen was taken into heaven on Monday, September 24, 2018 after a wonderful day of playing outside, as she always loved to do. Her life was full of love, laughter, curiosity, and learning. Always playing, singing, dancing, and asking questions; Ava Lynn lived every minute of her brief time with us to the fullest. Her laughing eyes, beautiful hair, hilarious voice, and sense of adventure will never be forgotten. Ava Lynn always looked forward to her bible class at church and always thought of herself as being in charge. Her smile made everyone’s heart happy. Ava Lynn was always the light of her mother’s life and will be remembered as a daddy’s girl.

Ava Lynn leaves behind her loving parents, Brittany and Dustin; grandparents, Lennie and Caryn of Pikeville and Michelle and Jimmy of Smithfield; great-grandparents, George B. Cribbs, Jr. of Pikeville, John and Donna Edwards of Goldsboro and Mildred Allen of Smithfield. She is also survived by several aunts and uncles that loved her very much.

Her family and friends will miss Ava Lynn and her lovable ways for the rest of their lives. We pray her spirit lives on in each of us forever.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service to celebrate little Ava Lynn’s life at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with her grandfather, Lennie Reagan officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to Oak Forest Church of Christ, 2705 N. Park Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.

Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.seymourfuneralhome.com.
