Karen Ruth Rouse Hill Tart, 67, of La Grange, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at UNC Wayne Healthcare. Karen was born January 29, 1951 in Lenoir County to the late Marvin Atlas Rouse and Dolly Ruth Brock Rouse. Karen’s first husband, Dennis Elton Hill, preceded her in death on December 3, 1995.
A service to celebrate Karen’s life will be held Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 2 p.m. at Seven Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
Karen is survived by her husband of sixteen years, Paige Tart; daughter, Shannon Hill Barber; grandson, Noah Ross Barber; two brothers, Michael Dean Rouse and Marvin Dwight Rouse; step-daughter, Cindy Tart; three step-grandchildren, Amber Paige Tart, Celeste Railey and Dayne Railey; and her caregiver, Elliott Bryant.
