Harril Charles passed away on Tuesday at his residence. He was the son of the late Ernest Charles, and the widower of Lucille Helen Church Charles. Mr. Charles was retired from the United States Air Force.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors. The family will receive friends at the home of his son, Jeffery L. Charles.
Mr. Charles is survived by his sons, Rick Charles and wife, Charlotte and Jeffery Charles and wife, Gail all of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Stephen Charles of Greenville, Melissa McAllister and husband, Christopher of Willow Springs, Christina Langley and husband, Matthew of Pikeville; and great grandchildren, Braden McAllister, David Langley, and Katelyn McAllister.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wayne County Animal Services, 1600 Clingman Street, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
