Geraldine Noble Rouse, 83, of Goldsboro passed away on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 3:30 p.m. in the chapel with I.K. Williamson officiating. A private interment will be held on Thursday at the Eastern Carolina State Veterans Cemetery.
Geraldine was born in Lenoir County on January 13, 1935 to the late John Garland Noble and Janie Howard Faircloth. She was married for 62 years to her late husband, Claude Rouse, Jr. Geraldine was employed for 27 years as a library assistant with Wayne County Public Schools. She was a member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church.
Geraldine is survived by two daughters, Deborah Rouse Bundy and Rhonda Rouse Winslow and husband Chuck; four grandchildren, Richard Bundy and wife Kathi, Reid Bundy and wife Nikki, William Winslow, and John Winslow; and five great-grandchildren, Noah, Violet, Khloe, Emalyn and Jude Bundy.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Madison Avenue Baptist Church, 300 S. Madison Avenue, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
