June 21, 88, Goldsboro
On Thursday afternoon, June 21, 2018, Pauline Evans Patrick, 88, of Goldsboro, moved to her Heavenly home. Pauline was a godly woman who loved the Lord and her family and set an example for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren that will lead them all their lives.
Pauline was born in Blaine, Kentucky on July 22, 1929 to the late Mont Evans, Sr. and Mae Greene Evans. She was married for 49 years to the late Bradley Patrick.
Pauline loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. Though she was a humble, gentle woman, Pauline was nonetheless a powerful prayer warrior, and only heaven knows what a wonderful and eternal impact all her many years of faithful praying have had on her family, her friends, and the world at large. She was a member of Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 23, 2018 from 5:00 – 6:45 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church in Goldsboro followed by a service to celebrate her life at 7:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Interment will be on Monday, June 25, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
Pauline is survived by her son, Rev. Dann Patrick and wife Brenda of Goldsboro; daughter, Sharon Riley and husband Johnny of Fuquay-Varina; grandchildren, Lange Patrick and wife Jamie, Lee Patrick and wife Julie, Jennifer Riley Gwillim and husband Tim, and Patrick Riley and wife Kelly; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend special appreciation to Terry Atkinson who was not only a special caregiver but also her special friend.
