Major Ollie Frank Webb, (Retired USAF), 87 passed away Monday, June 11, 2018 at Wayne UNC Healthcare surrounded by his family.
Frank was born in Red Level, Alabama on February 28, 1931 to the late Frank Webb and Velma Webb. He served his country as a pilot in the United States Air Force. After 20 years of military service, Frank was employed as an instructor at WCC and later at Walter Kidde.
A service to celebrate Frank’s life will be Wednesday, June 13, 2018 at 7:00 PM in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service. Interment will be Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 11:00 AM in Wayne Memorial Park with full military honors.
Frank is survived by his wife, Carolyn Ginn Webb; his children, Tanya Graham, Terry Glenister and Donna Cayton; step-son, Dave Cloutier; step-daughter, Linda Woodard; sister, Florene Thurston; and brothers, Robert Webb, Earl Webb and Joe Webb. He was “Daddy Frank” to Jade Woodard and Regan Hannant and “Big Daddy” to Tim and Kimberly Graham. Frank is also survived by a number of other grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Gibbs.
