Carol Anne Geist Malpass, 83, peacefully passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at her home. Carol was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on April 9, 1935 to the late Walter M. Geist and Dorothy Shook Geist. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Robert Jerrell “Bob” Malpass. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.
A graveside service to celebrate Carol’s life will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Willow Dale Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Bob Bardin officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Carol is survived by her four sons, Bruce Malpass and wife, Geneva of Goldsboro, Mike Malpass and wife, Lillian of Bethlehem, GA, Paul Malpass and husband, Mark Hensley of Greensboro, and John Malpass of Goldsboro; two grandchildren, Bert Malpass and wife, Allison and Cam Malpass; and two great-grandchildren, Anna Malpass and Molly Malpass; and a special niece, Cathy Blair of Lincoln Nebraska.
