Loray Ann (Ray Ann) Mitchell Braxton, 50, passed away on Wednesday at SECU Hospice House in Smithfield. Ray Ann was born in Wayne County on January 12, 1968 to the late Billy Ray Mitchell and Edna Harper Mitchell.
At her request, no formal service will be held.
Ray Ann is survived by her son, Jacob Barber; and sister, Neta Kay Holland and husband Glenn of Goldsboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angel Lee Braxton.
