Edna Earl Worley Stafford, 87, of the Belfast community went to be with her Lord and Savior Friday morning, April 20, 2018 at Crystal Coast Hospice House in Newport.
A graveside service will be held Monday, April 23, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Selah Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Stafford was born in Johnston County on October 9, 1930 to the late Jake and Leona Woodard Worley. She was a member of Belfast Pentecostal Holiness Church.
She is survived by three sons, Thomas Pennell (Debbie) of Goldsboro, Arthur Stafford of South Carolina and Jimmy Stafford (Martha Pate) of Belfast; one daughter, Cindy Edwards (Jan) of Belfast; one sister, Lois Childers of New Hill, NC; two grandchildren, Angie (Craig) Kelly and Emily (Kelly) Collier and one great-grandson, Luke Thomas Kelly.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Belfast P.H. Church in care of Mrs. Hilda Gurley, 3075 US 117 North, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
The family is in the care of Howell Funeral Home & Crematory in Goldsboro.
