Sara Judith Cordeiro, 78, passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury, Maryland.
Judy was born in West Virginia on April 7, 1940 to the late Sylvester John Feola and Retha Irene Snyder Feola. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Anthony Cordeiro, Sr. Judy was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Parish in Goldsboro. She was devoted to her church, sang in the choir, served with the Ladies Guild and with St. Vincent Depaul Society, and was involved in many activities where she utilized her gifts and abilities to share the love of God.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Rev. Alex Gonzalez presiding. Interment will be in the Pikeville Cemetery.
Judy is survived by her sons, Thomas Edward Cordeiro and wife Rhonda, Robert Anthony Cordeiro, Jr. and wife Margaret, Paul S. Cordeiro, Jason R. Cordeiro and wife Tyani, and Stefan Andrew Cordeiro and wife Jennifer; daughters, Brenda Irene Cordeiro-Rose and husband Eric and Jennifer Renae Ulrich and husband Duane Ulrich, Jr.; 19 grandchildren and was anticipating the birth of her first great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given in her memory to St. Vincent Depaul Society, St. Mary Catholic Church, 1603 Edgerton Street, Goldsboro, NC 27530.
