Rayburn Lewis Wade, age 76, died Wednesday at Wayne UNC Healthcare. He was born in Greene County to the late John D. and Alma Wells Wade.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 6:00pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Arlene Wade officiating. The family will be receiving friends immediately following the funeral service. A private burial will be held at Wayne Memorial Park.
Mr. Wade is survived by his brothers, John Selby Wade and companion, Alene Mooring and Keith A. Wade and wife, Arlene; a niece, Marcie Sutton; and two nephews, Phillip Wade and Chad Wade.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Homer Wade.
