Ms. Gwendolyn Carr, 91 of 509 Vann Street, passed on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 12:00 Noon at First African Baptist Church, 803 Harris Street, Goldsboro, NC with Dr. Louis Leigh officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be viewing held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 from 11:00am to 12:00 noon at the church.
She was born on October 30, 1926 in Wayne County, NC to Henry and Penina Raiford Whitley.
