Elizabeth Garrett Bordeleau, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Brookdale Berkeley in Goldsboro.
Elizabeth was born in Craven County on February 27, 1921 to the late John and Annie Clark Garrett. She was married to the late John Bordeleau, Jr. who preceded her in death on November 10, 2011.
The family will receive friends Monday, June 20, 2016 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home followed by a service celebrating Elizabeth’s life at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Elizabeth is survived by her son, Ronald D. Bell and wife Barbara of Huntington Beach, CA; daughter, Patricia Kilpatrick Lawrence and husband Joe of Goldsboro; grandchildren, Emily Bell, Pam Stokes, Debora Bartolomei, and James Forsythe; and great-grandchildren, Andrew Bartolomei, Christopher Bartolomei, Regan Forsythe, Madison Forsythe, and Harrison Forsythe.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, John, Alford, and Walter M. Garrett.
