Betty Rene Lancaster Lee, 76, peacefully passed away Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Wayne UNC Healthcare. She was born in Wayne County on August 24, 1941 to the late James Forest Lancaster and Virginia Potter Lancaster. She had worked as a bookkeeper for various businesses and was a homemaker.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Rona Lee Waters; son, David Wayne Lee; grandchildren, Zachary, Meghan, Seth, Jessica, Gabby, Tara and Mikayla; great-grandchildren, Natalia and Arlee; brother, Ron Williams; and sister, Ginger Bonham.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Angie Coble and the love of her life, Bill Roberts.
