February 13, 59, Mount Olive
Thomas Duke Ellington, Mount Olive, passed away Tuesday, February 13, at Wayne Hospital. He was 59 years of age. Tommy, as he was known, had been employed with Young’s Auto Salvage Company prior to his becoming disabled.
Born in Freidberg, Germany, he was one of two sons born to parents,Woodrow and Irmgard Kramer Ellington. Parents and brother, Raymond, are now deceased.
He is survived by his wife, Linda English Ellington, and daughter, Tanya Ellington, both of the home.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 17, at 4 p.m. at Tyndall Funeral Home in Mount Olive. Bishop Howard V. Winston will preside, and a time of visitation and fellowship will follow.
