Barbara Tomin Barry, 81, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at the Brian Center.
Barbara was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 3, 1936 to the late Teresa Tomin. She was married to the love of her life, Philip Gerard Barry, who preceded her in death on March 1, 2012. Barbara worked at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Exchange and received many awards for her service. For many years, Barbara was a volunteer at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base pharmacy as well as with the Wayne County Republican Party. She also enjoyed bowling with the league at Planet Bowl.
The family will gather for a time of visitation on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Patricia A. Barry of Raleigh; her sons, Kevin Philip Barry of Goldsboro and Douglas John Barry of Florida.
In addition to her husband and mother, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Maureen Barry.
