Helen Butner Bame, 96, passed away peacefully on Thursday morning at her home.
Helen was married to the late Rev. Robert L. “Bob” Bame, Sr. who was a long time Methodist minister and Pastor Emeritus of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 27, 2017 in the Pikeville Cemetery with Rev. Phyllis Vail officiating. The family will greet friends following the service at the cemetery.
Mrs. Bame is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Bame; and her grandchildren, Charlie C. Davis and Robert Lee Davis.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Robert L. Bame Jr.
