Reid “Ray” Wice

Reid “Ray” Wice, age 83, died Tuesday evening at his home. Born in Pontiac, Michigan he was the son of the late Walter William and Martha Owen Wice of Glennie, Michigan and was the husband of Beverly Ann Wice.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Eastern North Carolina Veterans Cemetery in Goldsboro. The family will receive friends on Sunday evening at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Ray served in the United States Air Force for 22 years before retiring. He also worked at AP Parts and APV Baker until his full retirement.

In addition to his wife Ray is survived by two sons; Robert R. Wice and wife Billie Jean of Cabot, Arkansas, Timothy Ray Wice and wife Carolyn of Goldsboro, a daughter; Lee Joyner and husband Ricky of Mt.Olive, a sister; Jane Hughes of Lansing, Michigan, twelve grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A daughter Janice Lynn Green preceded him in death.
