June 8, 72, Goldsboro John Milton “Johnny” Jones, passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family.
Johnny was born in Hampton, Virginia to the late Clarence Milton Jones and Geneva Aycock Jones. He retired as a route salesman with Lance. After his retirement Johnny worked at Nahunta Pork Center Outlet at the Farmers Market in Raleigh. He was a member of Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church. Johnny was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be missed my many.
A service to celebrate Johnny’s life will be Friday at 2:00 PM at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Barry Williamson and Rev. David Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Edna Earl Grantham Jones; son, Jimmy Jones and wife Tamara of Winterville; sister, Jennifer Jones of Pikeville and his granddaughters, Katlyn Jones, Olivia Jones and Ava Jones. He is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Tammy Jones of Pikeville.
In addition to his parents, Johnny was preceded in death by his son, John Milton Jones, Jr.
