June 3, Goldsboro 1st Lt Bill Carr (USMC Retired) passed away at 10:40 this morning. Funeral arrangements are pending with Seymour Funeral Home. Bill was true Mustang. He was a Past President of the Wayne County Veterans & Patriots Coalition, and Chaplain Emeritus of the Department of NC Military Order of the Purple Heart.
