Crystal Michelle Sasser, 29, went to be with her Lord on Monday at Kitty Askins Hospice Center surrounded by her family.
Crystal was a 2006 Honor Graduate of Rosewood High School. She loved to live life, adventure, reading, and stuffed animals. Crystal was a warrior and she fought for her life until the last minute. She lost her life after a long battle with Huntington’s disease. Crystal accepted her illness with grace, dignity and humbleness.
A service to celebrate Crystal’s life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Seymour Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Woodard Cemetery in Princeton. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Seymour Funeral Home and other times at her home.
Crystal is the granddaughter of Charley Guy and Margaret Dale Sasser and the daughter of Judy and Gary Hoggard. She is also survived by her sister, Casey Sasser (Josh Pittman), brother, Wyatt Hoggard; nephew, Waylon Pittman; special aunts, Jean Hall and Tammy Wingard; special cousins, Jennifer Hall, Stephanie Edwards, and Matthew Evans; daughters, Jesse and Carlie Jones; and many special cousins, aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her other grandparents and a nephew, Easton Gage Pittman.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the compassionate care provided by Community Home Care and Hospice, Personal Homecare Solutions, and Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Love and heartfelt thanks is also expressed to her caregivers and friends, Patricia Pate and Vera Lofton.
