Rebecca Creech “Becky” Brown, age 65, died Wednesday at her residence. Born in Portsmouth, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Johnson Creech and the late Ann Gardner Rice. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step mother, Ethel and step father, Robert. She was the owner and operator of Plaza Coiffures’ by Rebecca and was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Holiness Church.
A service to celebrate her life will be held by Thursday evening at 6:00 pm at Shumate-Faulk Funeral Home with Rev. Barry House officiating. A committal service will be held Friday morning at 10:00 am at Wayne Memorial Park. The family will greet friends Thursday evening immediately following the service at the funeral home.
Becky is survived by her husband, Louie F. Brown; her children, Tracy Cooper and husband, Andrew, Dwayne Brown & fiancée, Chris Krause and Joel Brown and wife, Andrea; grandchildren, Brianna (Levi) Donithan, Savana Donithan, Brianna Cooper, Courtney Brown, Rebecca Lambert and husband, Chad, Emily Lambert and Danielle Darant; her work family, Irene Brown and husband and Rochelle Anderson and husband.
