Ms. Bessie Lorraine Jones, 78, of 215 Randall Lane – Apt. 1, passed on Monday, September 18, 2017 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 11:00am at Barnes Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1108 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. Michael Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a wake held on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro.
She was born on January 21, 1939 in Wayne County, NC to Bessie Jones and Willie Cox. She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Jones of the home.
